Day Two of Vacation

Goal:  Drive from Adel, Georgia to Mickey Mouse's House. 

We took one much needed bathroom/diaper break once we got on the turnpike. 

At this point, we were unsure if Brody would actually wear his crocs once we arrived at Disney.  He insisted on wearing his "proggie boots" that morning even though it was warm out. Side note:  This is his second pair of frog boots in this size because he wore the first pair out.  Definitely a favorite he/we can't live without.

After a brief run in with the law, we were back on the road again.  (Kurt and Chris both got a warning out of the deal.)  I used the whole situation as a reinforcement to the discussions Brody and I had been having about police officers being good guys.

We were almost to our destination when Brody started saying HI in this really weird voice.  It made Riley stop crying and laugh so we were all for it.

We all got checked into our Disney resort, met up with Ellis's and then off to lunch we went.  I'm not sure it was really a lunch though.  Brody was past eating and cantankerous.  I finally had enough too.  I might have been a wee bit irritated over my $10 grilled chicken sandwich (seriously $10 for a bun with a grilled chicken breast between it - not even a piece of lettuce or a tomato).  It was definitely past time to lather on the sunscreen and head to the pool!
