I had to share my toys!
Saturday, we had a house full of kiddos and adults. Drew and his mommy Tracy and daddy Jess drove down to catch up. Leo and his mom Sarah were in town so they stopped by. We also invited Colby and her mom, Kelly, and Gabrielle and her mom Allison. Drew is like a monkey and was almost crawling. Poor Leo was recovering from a cold, but he hung out near the gym with me. Colby rested for quite awhile or maybe she was playing possum and checking us out? At any rate, my play area was full of kids. Gabrielle did take time to play 'patty cake' with me which was fun. Hope you all come visit again soon! I have to share my Grammy today with Cousin Cohen so I better show off my tricks so she claps for me too! Catch you later! ~Brody

Look at all the babies!
Today, we had a floor full of babies! Brody under the gym, Leo next to him and then Drew trying so hard to crawl. Holding court from her seat is Miss Colby...someone had to make sure all those boys didn't misbehave. The little mother of the crew, Gabrielle, put pacifiers in mouths, played patty cake, held bottles, put away toys, and the list goes on. Hope you all come see us again soon! Easter Sunday
There are several pictures on our Shutterfly site from Easter. Kurt informed me that I treat he and Brody like Ken dolls and dress them up and parade them around. You have to admit Brody looked pretty darn cute even if the hat was a complete waste of $$!
Congrats to Great Cousin Emily and her FIANCE Brett! She announced her engagement on Sunday right before dinner. We are super excited for her!!

We love to walk!

My new chairs.
I have two new places to hang out. The top picture is my lounge chair like Cohen's. I sit in it while mom washes my bottles after work and while they eat dinner. The bottom picture is my Bumbo seat...I don't love it, but my mom thinks I need to sit in it. Maybe she should fold the basket of laundry behind me and leave me alone!

First Day at Daycare...
Sad day for mommy and daddy, but a reality it was time to face. Grammy will still have Brody on Mondays and Friday's which Kurt loves because he gets breakfast and coffee to go! Side Note: Wednesday night was the first night Brody went all night long without needing a meal. Hallelujah!

Mom has new stuff to post, but she is really slacking. Two nights in a row she forgot to change my diaper when I was up eating at 2 a.m. Maybe she is tired now that she is back to work? Last night I tried to help her out and slept six hours before I was hungry. So, maybe tonight she will let my public know what I've been up to lately. No promises though!
I'm hanging with Grampy today. Who knows what kind of trouble we'll get into in his new toy?

A few of my firsts...
My first flight...on the flight to Fort Myers, I was awake for over half the flight. On the way home, I never knew we even left Florida and arrived in Indy. Cousin Cohen flew well too. On the way down, it was so hot on the plane, Cohen and I hung out in our onesies. Cohen filled his diaper and the excess leaked out onto Aunt Michelle's hand! Oops!
My first outdoor meal....we were hanging in the shade at a beach on Sanibel Island. It was in the upper 70's that day, but daddy was still wearing his fleece. Weirdo!

Other firsts: I met my Great-Great Uncle Frosty and Aunt Ginger for the first time. I wore my first pair of shorts that were more like capris. I also went without socks and a long sleeve onesie for the first time. I'm sure there are more, but that's all I can think of for now. My mama's back to work so our time in the blogging world is slowing down.

A busy weekend...
Friday, I was Super Baby. I spent the afternoon with my Super Aunt Katy. She had her Jones' nephews, Noah & Logan for the day too. She handled all of us with ease. Saturday, we spent the day in Louisville celebrating Great-Grandma Sandy's 70th birthday. Great-Grandad Bobby played patty cake with me. I got to see my Great Aunt's and Uncle's and cousins. Quincy and Quade both even held me! Sunday was another big day. The Jones' boys all came and hung out for the afternoon to watch the Illini game. We all had fun playing playstation, eating DQ ice cream cake, and of course, Noah wanted to hold me a couple times. I finally got to meet my Great Aunt Melinda and Great Uncle Joey today. We weren't expecting them, but it was great to see them.
We have a busy day ahead of us...I get to experience lots of firsts! It might take a week to post pictures, but stay tuned because I have a very exciting week planned!

8 week check-up!
We just got back from his eight week check up. Nurse Renee agreed that he is becoming a chunky monkey! His current stats: 13 pounds 7 ounces and 23 1/2 inches long. His head and length measure in right above the 50th percentile and his weight is at the 95th percentile, thus the title chunky monkey!
I have to now schedule his eight week immunizations! :(

A few of my firsts...
Not a very well documented trip, but I spent most of the time in the arms of my Great-Grandpa Yakey on my first trip to the Elevator. Grampy John had his fair share of cuddle time though too. 
My first stroller ride. Leo took his at the same time too!
My new crib! I sleep like a champ in it.
This pictures captures the first time I got to lay in my crib. I have this cool aquarium to look at and listen to in bed thanks to the Jones Crew. My mama can turn it on and I will just gaze at it until I fall asleep.

This is how my boys watched the Illini game tonight. They have no clue what a great end to a game they missed!
More firsts: I made my first trip to the Elevator and I took my first walk in the Baby Bjorn carrier. Thanks to the bunting Nikki gave us, I stayed super warm! We'll try to post more pictures tonight, but it's almost meal time again.
On a side note: Happy Birthday Great Aunt Jody!!

A little update...
I have been a busy boy lately and we have several pictures to post here and at Shutterfly, but for now a little commentary will have to do! I have been vehicle shopping with my mommy and daddy lately. I just don't have enough room in the Jeep for myself and all my gear! Uncle Chris and Aunt Katy got to watch me one evening while mom and dad went to a visitation. We had a lot of fun...pictures by Aunt Katy are posted at Shutterfly. I had pictures taken with Cousin Cohen at Studio 21. I'm not sure I really cooperated all that well, but we have pictures together in matching outfits! I made my first trip to Louisville to visit the Bible Family for Quade's party. My crib is finished and upstairs. Last night was my first night in it and boy did I sleep good. I have this cool aquarium that keeps me company when I'm not quite ready to fall asleep. Yesterday, mom and I went on our first adventure together without assistance from anyone. We visited Leo and Sarah in Tuscola. Leo and I had a little photo session together and then our mom's took us on our first stroller ride. I had so much fun in my stroller that mom and I went for a ride again today with Grammy. Tomorrow we are off to Lebanon to visit 'Great' Cousin Emily at college. I can hardly wait to check out her new apartment and of course see her!
So, we'll post more pictures soon, but just so you don't forget what I look like, I'll post a couple of my newborn pictures from Studio 21. I really have changed quite a bit since they were taken!
Mom says it's bedtime so I better head for the crib!

Lipstick or carrots?
Cohen has started eating solids...carrots were on the menu this weekend. Yumm-O! Happy 5th Birthday Quade and Noah!
