18 months today.

This dude weighs in at 29 pounds at the 18 month mark.
He excels at yelling Mommy, especially at 6:00 a.m. when he wakes up.
He also is very good with asking please. He tries to say the word, but knows the sign as well.
Uh-Oh, Daddy, Brodo (Brody) and No are his other very clear words. The rest of his words are gibberish or simply uh,uh,uh. I'm ready for the uh,uh,uh phrase to exit his vocabulary.
He LOVES to dance. The Hot-Dog Dance is a favorite as well as the Cajun country music Kurt plays for the boys in his truck. He always tries to sing along. When I don't immediately respond to his early morning wake up calls, he usually starts singing his songs at the top of his lungs.
He wants to do everything Brody does.
He can throw a dandy fit...complete with crocodile tears.
I usually rate at the top of his list, followed closely behind by Grampy and Uncle Chris. Grandpa Yakey is inching up there too.
He loves bath time and gets down right mad when we remove him from the tub.
Like Brody, he loves to run outside.
His hair has been cut numerous times and it's still out of control puffy at times.
He still prefers to be rocked to sleep. I don't mind complying most days. He also still gets a paci for sleep times. We depend on it just as much as he does. Come summer, it will make a grand exit from our house though.

In the blink of an eye, summer will be here and he will be TWO!

It felt like Spring...

on Monday that is. Not so spring like outside right now. We took advantage of the nice weather this week while we could though.

riley loves to swing.

he loved it more when brody was pushing him though.

still wearing green frog boots. he did switch them out for his hunting (snow) boots this morning though.

and now we sit and wait for warmer weather to appear again.

WE WANT OUT!

Kurt and the boys finally got to meet Miss Harper on Saturday. Outside of one meal, she basically slept through our whole visit. Not sure how because Cohen, Brody and Riley got loud at times. Such a sweet little thing...
