And just last weekend.

Tubing

Saturday, we did a little tubing on Lake Shelbyville.  It was the first experience these boys had on a tube and they had a dandy couch like tube to skim across the water on.  Now that they are pros, I believe they all think that tubing should be part of their daily schedule in the summer.

Last day

Wednesday marked the last day of Kindergarten and First Grade for these two.  Onto summer and baseball and swimming and well, the list goes on...

Biking

Every chance they get, we ride bikes...to school, the ball diamond, around the driveways and sidewalks.  Makes for happy kids!

Easter

Easter Sunday, also known as my favorite celebration of the church year, was a day we chose not to travel this year.  We soaked up time with all the cousins and got bonus bounce house time thanks to all of Katy's kids birthday celebration.

Brody figured out that the Easter bunny really didn't visit our house.  As he had already noticed the candy I had put in the pantry and he also noticed the empty change jar in the kitchen as he was emptying his coin filled eggs.  So, the cats out of the bag at our house about the Easter bunny. Probably only a matter of time before they question the whole Santa thing, too.

A visitor

Uncle Jesse...the tallest person they know!  In there minds, he is taller than Cinderella's castle.

Six days and counting...

His sixth day of running a fever is coming to an end. The one positive of Ri running a fever is he likes to cuddle into your lap and sleep. Hopefully tomorrow is fever free...

Last Sunday...

We had a bed full of boys.  Thankfully, they all slept in the boys room all night except for B.

Day Eight Disney: Travelling Home

And just like that, our trip was over and we were cruising down the interstate towards home.  It was a freakishly warm December day when we arrived back in Indy, thus the sleeping boys in shorts.  After returning home and checking out all the new rides and features coming to Disney soon, it is safe to say we will probably go again sometime sooner rather than later.

Day Seven Disney: Magic Kindgom for the Finale.

Day Six Disney

Chef Mickey's - also known as our favorite character meal.  Excellent service, excellent food, and superb dining company.
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - We were able to enter the park at 4:00 p.m.  Special performances, the parade and fireworks all started after 7:00 p.m.  At 10:15 p.m., we exited it's a small world, and our little Riley was finished.  I tucked him in the stroller and he was out after walking a short distance.  Brody and Kurt went on to ride more rides, including two rounds on Thunder Mountain.  As we were making our way out of the park around 11:15, I transferred Ri from the stroller into my arms without disturbing his rest and then proceeded to carry him to the bus and back to our resort without him even flinching.  Somehow Brody stayed awake the whole bus ride, which I'm sure Kurt was thankful for, as carrying B isn't an easy feat this days.

Day Five Disney: Animal Kingdom

Day Four Disney: Epcot

Day Three Disney: Magic Kingdom

Day Two Disney: Hollywood Studios

To end our day at Hollywood Studios, we rode The Tower of Terror.  After we exited the ride, the boys both said they would ride again, but while experiencing "gentle swing", as the lady sitting beside Kurt described it, I think they both wanted the ride to stop.  I wouldn't know if they screamed or talked to me, as I was screaming the whole time!  And that was the end of day two at Disney.
